Biography

Angela Bamford is a multi-talented, multi-faceted and celebrated Ghanaian personality who started her career in media as a model at the prestigious Exopa Model Agency at the age of 12. At 15, she signed a music record deal with one of Ghana’s foremost record labels –Lynx Entertainment as a member of D3.

With her sight set on a media career, Angela moved to New Jersey soon after D3’s sophomore song and graduated from North Hunterdon High School with a Diploma in Liberal Arts. After gaining admission to several universities, Angela nominated to attend Raritan Valley Community College where she was awarded several trophies for her exemplary performance including the much-coveted Award for Excellence in Communication from RVCC and graduating Magna Cum Laude. Spoiled for choice after receiving admission to multiple Ivy League universities, she decided on the accelerated Bachelors and Masters Communications Program at the distinguished Rutgers University (NJ).

Angela moved back to Ghana in 2016, lending her expertise to Ghana’s foremost entertainment channel, 4syte TV as Lead Host and Producer in mid 2017. She was then poached by Econet Media’s KWESE TV as a morning show host, co-host of KWESE Arena (an all[1]ladies’ talk show) and producer and host of KWESE FEED (a new media, political show). She was also the channel’s correspondent at the 2018 U20 Women’s World Cup in France. Following Kwese TV’s liquidation in 2019, Angela moved on to the EIB network and was the Host of The Lifestyle Show (TLS), and a newscaster on the primetime News Bulletin, News Tonight. She also lent her talents to Canal Plus as the voice behind The Scoop which airs on ROK, ROK GH and ROK on Sky (UK).

With her incredible business acumen and zeal for changing the narrative, Angela launched, hosted and Executive Produced a budding television show, her namesake, the Angela Bamford Show, the flagship television show of esteemed production company- Cross Culture Media. Under her keen guidance and influence, the Angela Bamford Show has drawn a large loyal audience across Ghana, the African Continent and even worldwide. A laudable feat as the Angela Bamford Show is still in its initial seasons.
